During early Campaign for Common Sense focus groups, participants expressed frustration about finding University policies that exist on multiple sites. In response, a single location and unified approach to policy writing and management has been created. The University Policies portal has been designed to make it easier to locate and understand all University policies. Phase one of the University Policies portal project was to create a consistent look for all policies and index them in multiple ways to make finding policies easier. Phase two of the project will focus on moving policies and procedures currently inside various policy manuals into the University Policies portal structure. This is still a work in progress, so project managers are interested in your feedback. Please share your suggestions and ideas below.
